The Weekend Outlook: Mother's Day, not looking so hot.

Showers continue into the morning hours on Friday before the arrival of a cold front that will bring rain chances to an end by early afternoon for most of Western New York.  Temps will tumble from morning highs near 70... into the 50's by late afternoon.

We'll cool it off and dry it out for the start of the weekend with a fair amount of sunshine on Saturday and temps in the mid to upper 50's. Conditions will be cool, but quiet for the Lilac Festival Parade in the morning on Saturday.  Unfortunately, the relatively "nice" weather won't last as another upper level storm system arrives with clouds increasing Saturday night and a good bet for rain developing during the day on Sunday.

Current thinking is that the morning will start out dry, but then rain moves in during the afternoon and temps may really struggle.  The European model, shown below is only forecasting highs in the middle 40's on Sunday.  Nasty!

The unsettled and cool pattern looks to persist through early next week with more rain chances and unseasonably chilly conidions. Canadian model below showing pattern from Sunday through Tuesday.

Updating  HOW LONG the cool pattern will last on tonight's edition of WxLIVEat945! See you there.
