Jeremy Kappell / Thursday, April 18, 2019 / Categories: Weather, Current Weather Forcast Sharp front enters area on Friday with the return of rain and storms. The Southeast will be under the gun for severe storms on Friday with an "enhanced risk" for severe storms as another potent upper low pressure system begins to impact the region. Locally, Western New York will be impacted by a rather SHARP cold front with temps in the 70's ahead of of it and only in the 40's behind. The front will be the focus on numerous showers througout the day. The front should sag through late day with temps cooling off into Friday night and early Saturday. Current data suggest temps will rebound Saturday afternoon in advance of the next wave of low pressure. This looks to bring another round of showers Saturday with temps not far from normal for this time of the year. Finally, some drier conditions look to arrive just in time for Easter on Sunday.
