Day 50 Grateful for Beards, Beers, and Burgers
Day 50 of a grateful heart...I'm grateful for Beers, Burgers, and Bearded Men. Yesterday, was "catch up day" from being away for Spring Break. You all know that feeling. The list is long..get kids fed and on the bus..check, make phone calls..check, get ready for work..check, go to work..check, grocery shop..check, put a load of laundry in..check, pay bills..check, get dinner ready..check, take daughter to dance..check, and the list goes on and on. WHEW! All to do it all over the very next day, right? Around late afternoon, I was feeling a little overwhelmed to say the least.
But then enter Bearded Man #1, my husband. Can I just say I am blessed? One of his biggest charms, is his ability to be positive. And it's absolutely contagious guys. I knew I had a choice to make, I could be grumpy and whiny about my endless chore list, or suck it up and be grateful for my endless chore list. And as my mood was lifting, enter Bearded Man #2, Jack Allen. Wow. He is one of those guys you just want to be around. He walks in the room with a shirt that says "Sun's Out, Buns Out" and need I say anymore haha. Spirits instantly lifted. He has helped Jeremy and our family in such a beautiful way, while we were hurting the most, isnt't it amazing how God, is like, "Here, you need a Jack Allen." What a gift to our family. I looked as these two bearded men with their burgers and beers, and felt truly blessed to have both of them in my life. Thank you God for Bearded Men.
