Day 64 Grateful for Dance and Joyful People

Day 64 of a Grateful Heart..you don't have to be around my family long, to know that one of our all time favorite movies is 'The Greatest Showman'. Last night, however, as I sat at Nazareth College Art Center, I quickly realized I was amidst "The Greatest Show"...

Day 63 Grateful for New York, "New Me"

Day 63 of a Grateful Heart...  the first year living in New York, I prayed for a purpose...I believe in order to have your best life, there is a need to have a sense of purpose and meaning. I was a Teacher's Assistant before moving here and really enjoyed it. But now the BIG question, for myself, what in the world was my new purpose now that I lived in New York???? At the time it was January and bitter cold, snowy... Perhaps a ski instructor, a "professional snow shoveler", or an ice fisherman would be the best option haha...

Day 60 Grateful for my Feet

Day 60 of a Grateful Heart... Today I am grateful for Feet. I have honestly never loved the way my feet looked, I have tried to hide them the best I can over the years. The other day, when I fell down the stairs,  I cursed my feet for literally letting me down haha. But as Andrea Whitcomb-May volunteered her time to pamper me once again, I realized I am way too hard on my feet. I think we all are. That's why it is so important to take care of them... that  is why it is even more important to think about others' feet and what they are walking through...

Day 58 Grateful to Get Back Up

Day 58 of A Grateful Heart..today was not one of my more graceful mornings. I'm embarrased to say it, but as I walked downstairs to head to work, I literally FELL DOWN THE STAIRS. As I laid there assessing the damage, I started to cry, my arm hurt bad, there was blood and I am not sure if it was the pain or blood that made me feel light headed.  I literally crawled back upstairs to Jeremy. What a pitiful sight...

Rochester's 7 Day Forecast

image

Following a round of some VERY light snow this morning... adding up to about a half inch officially at the Rochester International Airport, our season total is suddenly approaching a foot and a half on this very early winter season... and to to think, winter is still officially more than five weeks away.  Clouds lingered as did a few flakes mixing with graupel through the day as temps moderated into the 30's. for a high.

Fortunately for most, temps will moderate overnight near freezing for a low but still below average as highs ease into the upper 30's Friday with breezy conditions with a chance for a few flakes arriving late as another arctic front slips through the area.  We'll see another shot of some really cold stuff Saturday/Saturday night with more highs in the 20's. and lows well down into the teens. BRRR!

Early next week looks quiet and a bit milder, getting closer to our climatological averages by around Tuesday with an unsettled midweek.

In the meantime, stay warm friends.

Stay tuned.
