A WEEK OF MEDIA INTERVIEWS

A busy week of local, regional and even NATIONAL media interviews following filing of lawsuit against Mayor Lovely Warren...

HELLO, WE ARE WxLive!

A week after "the calamity" that derailed my nearly 20 year career in television meteorology, on January 15th 2019, my wife and I decided I should get back to doing what I love, THE WEATHER... and just like that, BOOM, #WxLIVE came alive!

I'm so thrilled to be able to continue to share my love for weather with so many great Rochesterians and Western New Yorkers... and the best part is that I get to do it with my truely lovely bride of 17 years by my side.

In the heart of what we do, you'll find passion for weather, faith and community as #AKALisaRay and myself LIVE stream the program across multiple social media platforms including Facebook and YouTube. In addition to daily radar and forecast updates for Rochester and Western New York, you'll get to experience weather and family entertainment all at the same time... #Weathertainment!

Grateful for 42

Day 70 of a grateful heart.. I kind of wish it was Day 42  just for emphasis on what an important number this is to me. On Mother's Day, our family sat down to watch a movie, its called 42...

Day 67...I am grateful for the courage to go to the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was a cold day, pretty typical in March. That morning, we were at Landon's basketball game. As we piled in the car after a fun victory, Jeremy asked us if we wanted to go to the Parade. Honestly I was very hestitant ...I was fearful.

Day 66 Grateful for Superheros

Day 66 of a Grateful Heart..Today I am grateful for superheroes. As some of you may know, I LOVE a good superhero movie. One of my favorite scenes in 'Guardians of the Galaxy', is at the very end when the Guardians unite and Groot sacrifices himself for his friends. "We are Groot." Oh my gosh, it gets me every time!

Day 64 Grateful for Dance and Joyful People

Day 64 of a Grateful Heart..you don't have to be around my family long, to know that one of our all time favorite movies is 'The Greatest Showman'. Last night, however, as I sat at Nazareth College Art Center, I quickly realized I was amidst "The Greatest Show"...

Day 63 Grateful for New York, "New Me" Read more

Day 63 Grateful for New York, "New Me"

Day 63 of a Grateful Heart...  the first year living in New York, I prayed for a purpose...I believe in order to have your best life, there is a need to have a sense of purpose and meaning. I was a Teacher's Assistant before moving here and really enjoyed it. But now the BIG question, for myself, what in the world was my new purpose now that I lived in New York???? At the time it was January and bitter cold, snowy... Perhaps a ski instructor, a "professional snow shoveler", or an ice fisherman would be the best option haha...

Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Buffalo NY

Tue Feb 25 2020

.SYNOPSIS...

Rather active weather will prevail through the rest of this week. Initially low pressure over the Ohio Valley will bring another round of mixed rain and wet snow to the region tonight...with this then changing to rain and temporarily breaking off for a time during Wednesday. The low will then rapidly strengthen and track across our area later Wednesday and Wednesday night while bringing a round of moderate to heavy rain that will eventually change over to snow... which will likely produce at least some moderate general snowfall accumulations across far western New York from later Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Much colder air pouring in behind this system will then bring the likelihood of heavy lake effect snow to areas east of the lakes Thursday through Friday...with somewhat weaker lake snows then migrating to areas southeast of the lakes on Saturday.

Stay tuned.
