     Extreme northern Delaware
     Extreme northeastern Maryland
     Western and southern New Jersey
Much of central and eastern Pennsylvania
     Coastal Waters

of tornadoes will also be possible with storm and boundary
   interactions.

north and south of a line from 40 miles northwest of Altoona PA to

URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED
   Tornado Watch Number 293
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   1245 PM CDT Wed May 29 2019

The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Tornado Watch for portions of
Parts of western and northern Arkansas
     Southeastern Oklahoma
Parts of north central and northeastern Texas

   * Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 1245 PM
     until 800 PM CDT.

   * Primary threats include...
     A few tornadoes likely
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3
       inches in diameter likely
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely

SUMMARY...Ongoing storms from north Texas into northwestern Arkansas
will continue to spread eastward through the afternoon.  Additional
warm sector, discrete storm development appears likely from
northeast Texas into western Arkansas through the afternoon.  The
storm environment is supportive of supercells with very large hail,
as well as storm clusters capable of damaging gusts.  Though
low-level shear is not particularly strong, some of the discrete
storms and/or storm interactions could pose a tornado threat, as
well as circulations embedded in line segments resulting from
   upscale growth.

The tornado watch area is approximately along and 70 statute miles
east and west of a line from 20 miles north northeast of Flippin AR
to 50 miles east southeast of Stephenville TX. For a complete
depiction of the watch see the associated watch outline update
   (WOUS64 KWNS WOU3).

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
   and possible warnings.

I'll be monitoring the situation closely and will provide WxLIVE coverage thru the newly launched #WxLIVENOW YouTube channel if conditions warrant.

Otherwise Lisa and I plan on seeing you at regular time tonight on #WxLIVEat945.  See you then!
