Early Winter Outlook 2019-2020

I don't know about you, but I'm not quite ready to ponder that question just yet.  With that being said, the now 200 years old Farmer's Almanac, first produced way back in 1818, has taken their "guess" as to what this winter, 2019-2020 will bring us.  Here's their prognostication AND what the models are saying about this winter...

Grateful for the WAIT

Day 92.. I wait for a parking spot,  I wait for an important phone call, I wait for this fish to thaw so I can start cooking dinner... "Oh that's okay, I can put that off a little longer, haha.". Waiting, waiting, wait...

Grateful To Shine

When I became a mom, I DREAMT BIG for my kids. I remember years ago someone asking me, "What do you want most for your children?" I'll be honest, my initial response was for them to be happy, but then I really starting to think about that as they grew. As I got older, my wants, my dreams for my children changed..

Grateful for Strong Leaders

Day 81..today I am grateful for strong leaders. This weekend is a somber one. Not only is Memorial day tomorrow as we honor our fallen military men and women, but it is bittersweet back home in Kentuckiana. So many times in life we like to capture "the firsts", but today marked "the last" for a man I call a legend.

Day 79...today I am grateful for tears. I was wakeful all night (it did not help that my cats decided to take turns pouncing me throughout the night). I am convinced they scheme their attacks..for some reason they enjoy taunting me and peacefully leave Jeremy to dream. Don't they know I keep their food stocked and litter box clean?  Regardless of my furry visitors, I was restless...

Rochester's 7 Day Forecast

The passage of a cool front will an end to those rain chances as we head into the start of the workweek with clouds gradually clearing by late in the day on Monday with seasonable highs near 70's.

Be prepared for a beautiful STRETCH of weather for the week ahead with abundant sunshine each day, morning lows warming from the 50's and into the 60's and afternoon highs gradually improving through the 70's to near 80 by the end of the week.

Summer type of warmth looks to return with more 80's over the weekend!  Next chance of rain might be more than a week away.

Enjoy.
